The title track from the brand new sophomore album by Tim Vesely’s Violet Archers, “Sunshine At Night” is an excellent indication that the former Rheostatics songwriter is still on top of his game.

As a song it’s melodic and lush with an unassuming drive, but as the figurehead for an album it’s irrefutable evidence as to why Sunshine At Night is currently a mainstay in my headphones.
